How did we get started?

DeBiasi Pacific Inc. was founded in 1983 by owner and operator Steven DeBiasi.   

In 1979, at the age of 19 years old, Steve moved to Oahu from his hometown of Noank, Connecticut.  Upon arriving to Hawaii, Steve met renowned landscape architect Jim Hubbard who quickly became his friend and mentor.  Over the next several years, he developed a passion for turning ordinary landscapes into extraordinary outdoor environments through his unparalleled vision and commitment to excellence.  

After establishing the firm as a premier contractor in Hawaii's residential market, Steve expanded operations throughout the Western Pacific including Guam, Micronesia, the Philippines and Indonesia.   It was during this expansion that DeBiasi Pacific focused largely on commercial projects for global resort companies including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriot, Westin, Outrigger, and several luxury brands in Asia.    

Having spent several years developing stunning resort and recreational facilities across the Pacific, 9/11 presented the opportunity for Steve, his family, and team to return home to bring their expertise to you.  It brings Steve and his team of dedicated professionals great joy to serve their community and accentuate the natural beauty of Hawaii in each and every project, no matter how big or small.
